Artistic Movements: The High Renaissance

While many may argue that the Renaissance itself began with artists like  Giotto in the 14th Century or even as early as Cimabue in the 13th Century, the High Renaissance started near the end of the 15th Century and into the early 16th. It encompasses some of the most well-known Renaissance artists today, such as Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, and Leonardo.
